How It Works

UVC

PetAirapy UVC Light Technology works the same in all of our units. Whether it is our in-duct units, portable units or surface disinfectant systems, the UVC light can kill and destroy the DNA of micro-organisms such as bacteria, germs, mold and viruses floating through the air. Air and surfaces illuminated by our powerful medical grade light will be sanitized from harmful culprits.

Our UVC lights are safe and ozone free to ensure the total health of your family and clients. They are also able to enhance the efficiency of your HVAC system or furnace by clearing away built-up mold, bacteria and germs that could be lingering inside. This will allow your system to run smoother to reduce maintenance and energy usage, ultimately saving you money.

Filtration

In-Duct Filtration

PetAirapy's Advanced Filter Technology is the next step in the protection of your home and business. Our state of the art in-duct allergen filters are designed to trap allergens such as pollens, ragweed, dander and dust that are 0.0001mm or larger. These filters, placed in both in-duct units and portable units, work with the UVC light to protect your pets, family and clients against all forms of harmful irritants and bacteria. Infused with carbon, the filters trap and eliminate odors including tobacco smoke, pet odors; chemical smells, fumes and gases to ensure your home or business is as fresh as it smells.

Portable Filtration

PetAirapy's portable units have six layers of purifying power with four different filters to provide the best protection against allergens and odors in your apartment, condo or small office. The Electric Static Plasma Filter is 99.99% effective in trapping pollens, dust, ragweed, dander and other allergens in the air to stop them from being circulated throughout your room. The ULPA Filter is combined with the Activated Carbon and Photo Catalyst Filters to trap and absorb odors and allergens in the air.

These filters all work together with the UVC light to offer the best protection and air purification for your home or business.

Circulation

Proper circulation is one of the important factors to each of our products. Our units work by constantly circulating contaminated air through the systems and dispersing sanitized, fresh air throughout your home or business for all to breathe. PetAirapy even offers our Thermostat to control air circulation for your HVAC system working with our PA-160 or PA-260. This Thermostat can circulate the air in your home or business without fluctuating or interrupting the temperature you have set. Every 15 to 20 minutes, the Thermostat will turn on the fan to circulate air throughout your HVAC system to ensure the air you breathe is always fresh.

Continuous circulation is important to enhance the effect of our units to be sure the air you breathe is always fresh and free of contaminates, never becoming stagnant to allow bacteria, mold, germs, viruses or allergens to build-up or circulate throughout your home or business.
