This product is made of stainless steel mesh and coated with TiO2 (titanium dioxide) to break down irritants and micro-organisms through Photo Catalytic Oxidation. This process works by exposing irritants to UVC light and a catalyst, such as TiO2, to oxidize, or break down, the micro-organism in the air as it passes through. These are then turned in to harmless carbon dioxide which is simply CO2 and water. Best of all, this whole process is environmentally friendly, non-toxic and completely free of chemicals and fumes.
