“Tasha is an 8-year-old spayed female Shih Tzu who presented with clinical signs consistent with allergies beginning in June 2004. Her signs included sneezing, itchy eyes with discharge, and skin itchiness. At times her eyes were so severely itchy that she scratched the skin around her eyes raw and caused traumatic secondary ulcerations of both her corneas. Tasha has also developed several bacterial skin infections secondary to the scratching of her own skin. In the time spanning from June 2004 to September 2007, Tasha was constantly in and out of the veterinary hospital for various complications due to her allergies and in an attempt to relieve her itchiness, she has been treated with several different multimodal therapies. In addition to antibiotics for skin and eye infections, Tasha has been prescribed two different types of antihistamines, oral and injectable steroids, and several shampoo/conditioner/topical spray combinations with little to no improvement in her itchiness. In August 2008, Tasha presented for her yearly exam and vaccines. She was not on any medications and her owners were no longer bathing her with prescription shampoo. “I have now been using the PA-777 for 3 weeks in my bird sanctuary. The birds are fed well; the room is cleaned several times a week. However, thru time, I occasionally noticed some sneezing, itching and they can be a little bit on the lethargic lazy side, for no apparent reason. They are all basically young birds and should have more energy than they have been displaying.

Birds are the first in an environment to feel the effects of any type of bacteria, gas leak, virus, toxin, etc. etc. despite how minute it may seem!!

I do have one older Cockatiel that was removed from a questionable environment just over 3 years ago. The avian vet told us that the bird had liver damage plus a host of other minor ailments. He had also plucked all of the feathers off of his chest and rump, as well as some off of his wings. After I began using the PA-777 (all options 24/7), we are starting to notice that his cere and nostrils are turning a lighter pink color instead of the brownish color that he frequently displayed. We are looking forward to the upcoming months to see what type of results we get with these birds when they undergo a molt, which has appeared to be quite frequent the past several years, but not thorough.

I also have several Lineolated Parakeets with are native to the rain forest and fare much better in humidity and tropical environments. The PA-777 has actually freshened the air and the room appears to have a fresh, arid smile to it, almost humid like the rain forest. One of my Lineolated Parakeets is doing very well, full of energy, bright shiny eyes, happy and has a good appetite.

“I am beyond impressed with this air purifier unit! We purchased it because our little 3 year old Chihuahua had allergies that seemed to just come out of nowhere; biting and gnawing at his feet, pads and legs, chewing between his toes, rubbing his face and eyes on the carpet, scratching at his ears, etc. We had noticed he seemed to be losing his hearing a bit and the vet said he had ear infections, probably due to allergies.
