PetAirapy was founded in 2008 by Annette and Mike Uda after their years of struggle with pet allergies in their dog, Tasha. Read about Tasha’s story. With Annette’s 20 year experience in sales and marketing, Mike’s extensive knowledge and work with indoor air quality (IAQ) and their immense love of pets, PetAirapy, LLC was formed. Founded by this husband and wife team to combat and treat pet allergies and ailments, PetAirapy became more than a business – it became an absolute necessity for many families and businesses.
PetAirapy has teamed up with the world renowned Dr. Wladyslaw Jan Kowalski, PE and PhD to keep up with the scientific engineering of air purification systems.
Dr. Wladyslaw Kowalski, PhD, P.E. is a noted UV researcher and graduate of Pennsylvania State University, were he was a Research Associate in the Department of Architectural Engineering. He currently serves on the board of the International Ultraviolet Association (IUVA) where he develops guidelines for air treatment systems. He has published numerous articles on UV germicidal irradiation and is considered an expert in mathematical modeling and design of UVGI systems. He is also recognized by the Center of Disease Control (CDC).

Although some breeds such as Boxers, Shar-peis, Beagles and Bulldogs are especially prone to pet atopy or pet atopic dermatitis, any breed of dog can develop environmental allergies! You should always be vigilant watching for allergy symptoms in your pet.
